Five years ago, when possessing and consuming cannabis was only legal for medical patients in Illinois, there was a surprising lack of outreach and resources for Black & Brown communities. That’s when Donte Townsend joined forces with a small group of POC and formed Chicago NORML.

Since then, our organization has been at the forefront of the cannabis industry in our state, pushing for policy change and increased equity. We recognize the importance of BIPOC communities in this rapidly-growing space.

We are proud to still continue standing strong, through thick and thin, from legacy to legal. We support our community, and we are honored to have the community support us.
